Karen Snyder is a commercial litigation attorney who specializes in representing investors in mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and similar financial litigation. She previously practiced juvenile and family law in both Kansas and Missouri and handled a wide range of domestic and juvenile matters including divorce, child custody, grandparent custody, paternity, child in need of care, juvenile delinquency and guardian ad litem cases with particular experience in cases involving issues of child abuse and neglect. Karen has experience in all aspects of juvenile and family law litigation, including trial, depositions, settlement negotiations and appellate practice.
In 2007, Karen established the Snyder Law Firm with her husband Paul, and continued to serve her juvenile and domestic clients in Kansas and Missouri while managing the firm and expanding her practice to general commercial litigation. Prior to establishing the Snyder Law Firm, Karen worked as the Pro Bono attorney at Bryan Cave LLP in Kansas City, Missouri. Before that, Karen was an attorney for the Juvenile Officer in Jackson County Family Court in Kansas City and an attorney at Legal Aid of Western Missouri in Kansas City, where she developed her expertise in domestic and juvenile law.
In addition to working as counsel for Talcott Franklin P.C., Karen continues her membership in her own firm, Snyder Law Firm LLC in Leawood, Kansas.
